Track Pants

Boyfriend Button up- Gap
Leather Track Pants- Guess
Shoes- American Rag

This look I wore a couple of weeks ago and I by the time I had a free moment to capture the look it was night time and I don't usually like to take pictures at night but I didn't want to end the day without getting this look...
So I don't really need to clarify on why when I saw these pants I wanted to get them......... Besides the fact that they have a leather look to them they are extremely comfortable and can be dressed up or dressed down! But for this look I wanted to dress them up a little bit so I went for my favorite white button up top.  Doesn't my backpack look expensive? You can easily confuse it for a designer brand bag but its not....its from TARGET!! :D I love it! Target has seriously been amping up their game these past couple of years, collaborating with high end designers and creating "luxury" accessories, like this bag. Just because something isn't high end or designer doesn't mean that it isn't good and beautiful...

My New Favorite T-shirt

Happy Monday!! I know Mondays are typically not everyone's favorite day of the week but think of it as a new fresh start. A fresh start to do something different in your life! Even in your daily style ;)

You all know how leather obsessed I am, so how could I resist this leather t-shirt I saw at Express? I LAHVE ET! It is so versatile. It can be be worn in a more dressed up style like how I am wearing it here or with a pair of denim high waisted shorts and converse for a more laid back look. It is just perfect...
I paired it with my green army pants from H&M and some really old leopard print ankle booties to give it a mix of print!

Hope everyone has a beautiful week filled with the LOVE <3

Much love, Crystal

Excuse the fro....I was getting tired of using heat on my hair so I decided to take break during the time I took these pictures....

Animal print has definitely been a HUGE trend this fall and while I'm not necessarily the biggest animal print lover I think having an essential piece with the print is a must for any wardrobe. I know it gets difficult because usually animal print carries the "hoochy mama" vibe but when used correctly it can give a very classy sophisticated touch. Bebe had came earlier with a beautiful collection of animal print and my mother and I went cray. I know that the color red is usually the go to color to pair with this print but I wanted to do something different and this cobalt blue works perfectly. Its so vibrant and makes the colors of the print stand out more with out it being to much. In my opinion, red, blue, violet, and maybe even green can be paired up with animal print and still look good!

Do not be afraid to mix print and colors you never what piece of art you might create! :)

Much Love, Crystal

First Day of College

Hello my lovely readers. I know I know I have seriously disappeared! BUT I started college and it has consumed so much of my time, even my time to sleep at night D:! But that is okay. I've actually just been waiting to be able to have a serious of post for you all to be able to post every other day. I'm still learning how to balance school and everything my life so please bare with me!

I'm a freshman in college getting my bachelors in fashion design. This is a huge new season in my life, college is so different from high school and I thank God everyday that is! I'm getting so many new experiences already and learning so much. There is more to fashion than even I thought! Its such a beautiful art and something that I can't wait to glorify God through:) I am very blessed to be able to study and do what I love to do :)

Now for this look....COMFORT is a MUST when it comes to school clothes. And you all know that I am a true believer that you do not have to sacrifice comfort to look fabulous!! Even though it isn't really leather jacket weather here in Miami, I wore my BLJ just because its my favorite piece in my wardrobe and for the first day I wanted to wear something that represented me in a way. (First impressions) And you can never really go wrong with a t-shirt and skinnies. These coated skinnies are one of my favorites because they give off that leather feel without being leather! Because it was my first day I didn't know how much standing/walking I would do so to be safe I went with flats!

Much love Crystal xoxo

Polka Dots & an Update

Top-The Limited
Pants-H&M
Shoes-Vince Camuto
Bag-Juicy Couture
Hey everyone!! So I know I have been gone for what feels like forever, but I got very sick and the doctor had ordered me to be in my room and away from human contact for about a week. So I was locked up in my room, sick and watching movies all day long! :( But thats okay, because by God's wonderful idea of an immune system I am finally back and up on my feet and feeling a lot better!! :D

Now I wore this look a couple a weeks ago, and this is one of my favorite looks! Who would have thought that polka dots and cargo pants would compliment each other?! I think that this looks is sophisticated but with the right amount of casualness. The polka dots give it a girly touch as well. I went with flats because I was going to be running around a lot that day and heels are not the shoes for a day like that, BUT I would prefer this look with some cute black pumps. This look is perfect for work, wearing it at school, or nice lunch date. :)

Thank you so much for waiting and I promise that there will be more post up coming up!! :)
God bless you <3

PARTY PARTY PARTY!! I wore this look to a friend's birthday party last weekend and the theme was "rock star". As a rock head by heart this was not going to be difficult to put together! I've had these gold sequined short for a very long time but I rarely get to wear them because, there aren't a lot of occasions that I can wear them to. I love them because they automatically give off that party feel which instantly helped me get in the mood. The party was taken place at a warehouse so there was no way I was going to wear a leather jacket because warehouses don't usually have the best ac. Instead I opted for a leather vest which still gave off the edgy vibe but without me having to worry about passing out.
The party was a lot of fun, since I don't usually get the chance to go out as much it was a night of just exploring freedom, hanging out with friends, and having a good time!!!
